Wild West Guns - Deluxe Gold Cavalry Pistol
Classic single action western revolver features a deluxe antique gold finish with heavy leaf engraving. This 1873 pistol was the first cartridge revolver issued to the U.S. Army. The first U.S. Government models were shipped to Fort Lincoln, and issued to General George Armstrong Custer's famous 7th Cavalry Regiment. It was the pistol carried by these troops at the battle of the Little Big Horn. The single action, six shooter came in many styles and barrel lengths and to this day is still referred to as "The Gun That Won The West".
